Grafting is an amazing horticultural technique that allows parts of two plants to grow as one! Here’s a quick guide on how to graft trees correctly and efficiently, focusing on the bark grafting method, which is especially popular for propagating fruit trees like apple trees. 🍏

1. Choose the Right Time: 

Late winter or early spring is the best time for grafting before the sap starts flowing. This timing allows the graft to heal during the growing season.

2. Select Scion and Rootstock:  

- Scion: Pick a healthy, disease-free scion from a one-year-old tree with 2-3 buds.  

- Rootstock: Choose a compatible, healthy rootstock that’s well-established.
