Classic Fruit Cake

1. Classic Fruit Cake

Ingredients
 • 1 ½ cups mixed dried fruits (raisins, currants, chopped dates)
 • 1 ½ cups flour
 • ¾ cup brown sugar
 • ½ cup butter (softened)
 • 2 eggs
 • 1 tsp cinnamon
 • ½ tsp nutmeg
 • 1 tsp baking powder
 • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 1. Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease a cake pan.
 2. Cream butter and sugar until light.
 3. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
 4. Stir in dried fruits and spices.
 5. Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt.
 6. Pour into pan and bake 45–50 minutes. Cool before slicing.

2. Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients
 • 1 can pineapple slices (drained)
 • ½ cup brown sugar
 • ¼ cup butter
 • 1 cup flour
 • ¾ cup sugar
 • 2 eggs
 • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 1. Melt butter and brown sugar in cake pan; arrange pineapple on top.
 2. Mix flour, sugar, eggs, and baking powder into a batter.
 3. Pour batter over pineapple.
 4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
 5. Cool 10 minutes, then flip onto a plate.

3. Apple Cake

Ingredients
 • 2 apples (chopped)
 • 1 ½ cups flour
 • ¾ cup sugar
 • ½ cup butter (melted)
 • 2 eggs
 • 1 tsp cinnamon
 • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
 2. Whisk eggs, sugar, and butter.
 3. Add apples and cinnamon.
 4. Fold in flour and baking powder.
 5. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden.

4. Banana Cake

Ingredients
 • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
 • 1 ½ cups flour
 • ¾ cup sugar
 • ½ cup butter (melted)
 • 2 eggs
 • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 1. Mix bananas, sugar, eggs, and butter.
 2. Add flour and baking powder. Stir gently.
 3. Pour into pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.

5. Blueberry Cake

Ingredients
 • 1 cup blueberries
 • 1 ½ cups flour
 • ¾ cup sugar
 • ½ cup butter (melted)
 • 2 eggs
 • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 1. Mix eggs, sugar, and butter.
 2. Fold in flour and baking powder.
 3. Gently fold in blueberries.
 4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.

6. Strawberry Cake

Ingredients
 • 1 cup chopped strawberries
 • 1 ½ cups flour
 • ¾ cup sugar
 • ½ cup butter (melted)
 • 2 eggs
 • 1 tsp baking powder
 • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 1. Mix eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla.
 2. Fold in flour and baking powder.
 3. Add strawberries gently.
 4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes.
