🧡 Soan Papdi Recipe (Traditional Indian Sweet)
Ingredients:
1 cup Gram flour (besan)
1 cup All-purpose flour (maida)
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Ghee
¼ cup Water
½ tsp Cardamom powder
2 tbsp Chopped pistachios & almonds
Instructions:
1. Roast flours:
Heat ghee in a pan, add gram flour and all-purpose flour. Roast on low flame until golden and aromatic.
2. Prepare sugar syrup:
In another pan, mix sugar and water. Boil until it reaches 2-string consistency.
3. Combine:
Pour syrup into the roasted flour mixture while stirring continuously.
4. Spread mixture:
Quickly spread the mixture on a greased plate and flatten it evenly.
5. Set & cut:
Let it cool slightly, then cut into square pieces. Garnish with chopped nuts.
6. Cool completely:
Allow to set fully before serving or storing in an airtight container.
